Soundtrack Pro: Unexpected results when you apply Time Stretch to an Apple Loop
Products Affected
Final Cut Studio (2009), Logic Studio (2009), Soundtrack Pro 3.0
Symptoms
Sometimes when you choose Process > Time Stretch on an Apple Loop in a Soundtrack Pro multitrack project, the results may not sound like you expect.
Resolution
Replace the Apple Loop with a WAV file format.
- Open the Apple Loop in the fIle editor and save it as a WAV file. Note: Saving as AIFF or CAF formats will create another Apple Loop.
- Replace the Apple Loop in the timeline with the WAV file, then choose Process > Time Stretch again.
