MainStage: Edirol PCR-M80 may be detected as PCR-800

Symptoms

 When you detect a Edirol PCR-M80 with Audio MIDI Setup, it may be incorrectly detected as a PCR-800, and the keyboard may not function properly with MainStage. 

Resolution

The PCR-M80 and PCR-800 appear to be identical to Audio MIDI Setup. Follow these steps to work around the issue:

  1. Open Audio MIDI Setup from the /Applications/Utilities folder.
  2. Select the MIDI Devices tab.
  3. Double-click the Edirol keyboard icon.
  4. Type "EDIROL PCR-M" in the Device Name field, as below.
  5. Click Apply.
