iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to download podcasts

Symptoms

If an iPhone or iPod touch has no remaining free space, it will not be able to download new podcasts. You will see a message similar to the following if this occurs:

"There was a problem downloading this podcast."

Resolution

To download additional content to the iPhone or iPod touch, remove some of the photos, videos, applications, music, or podcasts from the device. For information on freeing space on iPhone and iPod touch, please see TS1503.
