MobileMe: Sometimes unable to select .mov files to upload to Gallery album
Symptoms
When you attempt to upload a .mov file in to a Gallery album in me.com, you may notice that in some albums this works, and in others the option to select .mov files is not available.
Note: It is possible that the .mov files will not be available when you try to add a .mov file to an album published using the Aperture application. Aperture does not work with video files.

To upload .mov files to a Gallery album, you will need to sync your album with iPhoto. Follow the steps below to change the sync settings for a published album:
- Sign in to me.com/gallery.
- Select the album where you want to upload your movie.
- Click Settings.
- Choose "iPhoto" from the "Syncs with" pop-up menu, then click Publish.
- You should now be able to select a .mov file and upload videos to this album.
Note: Changing the sync type will prevent this album from syncing with Aperture and will enable you to add the album's photos to your iPhoto Library the next time you sync.
