iMovie '09: Sony Webbie footage stutters during import preview

Symptoms

When previewing video footage in the import window of iMovie '09 from a Sony Webbie HD (MHS-CM1 or MHS-PM1) camcorder, the video footage may appear to stutter or skip.

Resolution

Although you may see some stuttering if you preview in the import window, the video should play back correctly once it is imported into iMovie.
