iWeb: RSS Feed widget cannot access content from password-protected MobileMe domain

Symptoms

If you attempt to add a password-protected URL to your RSS Feed widget in iWeb, you will receive the following message:

Your RSS Feed widget cannot access RSS feeds located on password-protected MobileMe sites.

Resolution

Your RSS Feed widget can access RSS feeds on your MobileMe sites if you remove the site's password protection. Once you remove your site's password protection, be sure to republish any pages that you have modified.
