iWork.com: Cannot authenticate Apple ID containing space character

Symptoms

If you want to view your published iWork.com documents, you will need to authenticate your session. Authentication requires you to enter your Apple ID as in the image below.

If you have an Apple ID with a space character included, you may not be able to authenticate your iWork.com account.

Resolution

To view the documents you published to iWork.com, use an Apple ID that does not have a space character in it.
