iWeb '09: Distorted text in published Modern Frame theme

Symptoms

In iWeb '09, if you select the Modern Frame theme and select "Center text" alignment for the text body placeholder, you may experience the following after publishing:

  • Text content area shrinks
  • Text box has shifted upwards
  • Text box formatting (color fill, stroke) is lost after publishing

This occurs on all Modern Frame theme pages except for the blank page.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do not use centered text or select another iWeb theme.
