Symptoms

After completing a Windows Auto Update in Microsoft Windows Vista (SP1) on your iMac Early 2008, you may recieve a "Problem Reports and Solutions" window that reports:

  • Compatibility issue between Intel 82801 GBM (ICH 7-M) LPC Interface Controller - 27B9 and Windows Vista
  • Problem caused by Apple Desktop Null Driver

Resolution

You can safely ignore this error report. Vista requires no additional drivers or software.
