iPhone: Attachment appears to be cropped in Mail when rotated

Symptoms
When viewed in Mail, an attachment may appear cropped.

Resolution
This can happen in iOS 2.2.1 and earlier if you are viewing an attachment in landscape mode, then tap Home, and then tap Mail again. Although the image may appear cropped, it is not.
This is resolved with the iOS 3.0 Software Update.
