MobileMe: My iDisk won't eject
Symptoms
Sometimes your iDisk may not disconnect properly. The "ghost" can stay even after you restart your computer. If this is happening, there are several ways the ghost may manifest itself. You may try to connect to your iDisk and find that you simply can't, or you are able to connect to your iDisk but the username has a "-1" after it.

Follow the steps below to remove the iDisk "ghost" from your computer.
- Restart your computer. Don't try to access your iDisk yet.
- Choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
- Type /Volumes/ into the window that appears and click Go.
- A new window will open. If an icon appears in the Volumes folder that is named "username", "username-1", and so forth, drag it to the Trash.
- Choose Empty Trash from the Finder menu to delete it completely.
Note: Whenever the instructions refer to "username", it means your MobileMe member name--the part before the @me.com (or @mac.com) in your email address.
