Aperture 2: cRAW images from Sony DSLR-A700 may not display properly

Symptoms

cRAW formatted images from the Sony DSLR-A700 camera may display pink or white after you install Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.2.  Standard RAW images should not be affected, only those taken with the cRAW setting.

Resolution

Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.3 should resolve the issue with cRAW images.

To update via Software Update:

  1. Choose the Apple () menu from the menu bar.
  2. Choose Software Update.
  3. After Software Update scans for new software, be sure the checkbox is selected under Install for Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.3.
  4. Click Install.

To update manually:

  1. Download Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.3.
  2. Run the installer.
  3. Restart your computer.

After updating, cRAW images should display correctly.
