Power Mac G4 and Power Macintosh G3: Memory Error Dialog Box on the Screen
Symptoms
A memory error dialog box message appears on the screen.

Resolution
1. Reseat the SDRAM DIMMS. Note: The computer does not come with any on-board memory. You must have an SDRAM DIMM installed for the computer to start up properly.
2. Verify that only PC-100 SDRAM DIMMs are installed and not EDO memory.
3. Run MacTest Pro and located the bad SDRAM.
4. Replace the SDRAM with a known-good DIMM.
