Bluetooth: Not all phones work with all features

Symptoms

When pairing with a Bluetooth phone, a dialog box appears with this message:
 

    "Choose the services to use with this phone."

 

One or more of the services may be dimmed (unavailable).

Resolution

If you cannot select a feature for use with a phone, that feature as implemented on that model may not be compatible with Mac OS X.
