Final Cut Express: Ejecting Canon HF10 and FS11 Flash Memory camcorders

Symptoms

If you have a Canon HF10 or FS11 Flash Memory camcorder connected to your computer, clicking Eject from the Log & Transfer window may not unmount the camcorder.  You may see the warning dialog "This volume cannot be unmounted because it is being used for importing."

Resolution

Drag the camcorder icon from the Desktop to the trash.
