In songs created in prior versions of Logic, tracks that use the Compressor may sound slightly different when played in Logic Pro 8.

Resolution

This only occurs on tracks where the Compressor's release time parameter has been automated. The internal scaling and range for the Compressor's release time has been changed for better overall performance, which can lead to a slight change in sound in this one situation. Either delete the automation for the parameter and find a constant value that works for the track, or rerecord the automation in Logic Pro 8.
