Final Cut Pro: Incomplete transfer when ingesting VDU clips
Symptoms
Sometimes when you ingest clips from a VDU (video disk unit) device, the transfer may not complete. If this happens, a warning icon "!" displays next to the affected clips in the queue. If you mouse over the alert, a tooltip "Error: No Data" appears.

Resolution
This may happen if you are ingesting both AVCHD (advanced video codec high definition) and VDU material in the same session. Try one of these two workarounds:
- Ingest all the VDU clips first, then ingest the AVCHD clips.
- Ingest the AVCHD material first, then close and reopen the Log and Transfer window before you ingest the VDU clips.
