Ejecting optical media with Windows and Remote Disc

Symptoms

You may notice it's possible to eject optical media from a Windows computer (using Remote Disc) when the media is still in-use by a MacBook Air. No warning appears on the Windows computer when this occurs.

Resolution

Avoid pressing the Media Eject key on a Windows computer when an optical disc is in use or is being accessed by a Mac using Remote Disc.
