Final Cut Express: Clips sometimes offline when importing Final Cut XML from iMovie

Symptoms

Sometimes when you import Final Cut XML from iMovie, the clips may appear offline. When you reconnect the clips in Final Cut Express, a warning dialog may indicate the file does not have enough audio tracks to reconnect.

Resolution

This may happen if the exported movie contains no audio or the audio was not originally captured from a device by iMovie.  Click OK in the warning dialog to reconnect the video and dismiss the audio track warning.
