MobileMe: Syncing contacts on an iPhone may remove custom ringtones for a contact

Symptoms
When syncing contacts with MobileMe on an iPhone, a ringtone you assigned to a contact may revert back to the default ringtone.
Resolution
Update to iOS 3.0 or later, and then reassociate the custom ringtones for your contacts.
Additional Information
Custom ringtone settings will be maintained on your iPhone, but will not be synced to another iPhone if you have one.
