MobileMe: Don't use Backup 3.1.1 with Mac OS X v10.5

Symptoms

With Mac OS X v10.5 or later, Backup 3.1.1 may behave unexpectedly. Symptoms may include:

  • Backup stops responding when attempting to restore.
  • Various alert messages appear when backing up.

Resolution

Update to Backup 3.1.2 or later. Backup 3.2 is recommended for all MobileMe members.
