Mac OS X 10.4: Troubleshooting Error Code 5006 during MobileMe Sync

Symptoms
During a MobileMe Sync, you may receive an error that says:
MobileMe Sync Error
There was a problem syncing with your MobileMe account
- Error Code 5006
Resolution
This alert can occur if you don't have much space left on your iDisk. To resolve this issue and prevent it from happening again, reset your sync information as follows:
- Check that the data currently on your computer is the data you want to keep.
- Make sure you're connected to the Internet.
- From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
- Click MobileMe to display the preferences pane.
- Click the Advanced tab, and then click the Reset Sync Data button.
- In the resulting dialog, choose All Sync Info from the Replace pop-up menu.
- Click the right arrow button, so the orange arrow flows from the computer icon to the MobileMe icon and the text above the icons says "On MobileMe with sync info from this computer."
This will copy the information from your computer to your MobileMe account, replacing the information on MobileMe with the information from your computer.
If you receive this error message again during the reset, you can increase your iDisk size by designating more space to your iDisk or by purchasing additional storage space. After you designate or purchase more iDisk space, reset your sync information using the steps listed above.
