Mac OS X: Mail - MobileMe account mailbox is dimmed

Symptoms

A MobileMe account mailbox is dimmed (or "grayed out") and no new messages appear in the account's mailbox. Messages can be sent from the account, though.

Resolution

The account may have been set to offline because of a change in your Internet connection.

    1. Select the dimmed mailbox.
    2. Choose Mailbox > Take "<account name>" Online.
