iOS: Microsoft Exchange data not syncing

Symptoms

After configuring Microsoft Exchange account on an iOS device, the following symptoms may occur:

  • No Exchange data such as emails, contacts, or calendar appear on the device.
  • No Exchange emails have been received on the device
  • Emails sent from the Exchange account are not received by the recipient.
  • No error message appears on the device.

Resolution

Follow these steps to resolve the above symptoms:

  1. Update the software on your iOS device.
  2. Delete and add the Exchange account to the device again.

If you're still unable to sync data, refer to Exchange ActiveSync and iOS 4 Devices to ensure that the server is set up correctly.
