iOS: Microsoft Exchange data not syncing

Symptoms
After configuring Microsoft Exchange account on an iOS device, the following symptoms may occur:
- No Exchange data such as emails, contacts, or calendar appear on the device.
- No Exchange emails have been received on the device
- Emails sent from the Exchange account are not received by the recipient.
- No error message appears on the device.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the above symptoms:
- Update the software on your iOS device.
- Delete and add the Exchange account to the device again.
If you're still unable to sync data, refer to Exchange ActiveSync and iOS 4 Devices to ensure that the server is set up correctly.
