iTunes voor Windows: problemen met verbinding maken bij gebruik van internetfilters, versnellers of firewalls
Symptomen
Software die beïnvloedt·hoe uw Windows-computer informatie via het internet stuurt en ontvangt kan fouten veroorzaken bij het openen van de iTunes Store, of kan helemaal toegang tot de Store verhinderen.
U krijgt geen toegang tot de iTunes Store, of bepaalde delen zijn niet beschikbaar. Zoals:
- Downloaden van materiaal (muziek, video's of games)
- Software-updates voor iPod
- Met de Gracenote Service (in gebruik als u Geavanceerd > Cd-tracknamen ophalen kiest)
- Albumillustraties ophalen
- Een iPhone of iPod touch activeren

Oplossing
Veel verbindingsproblemen worden opgelost door de filtersoftware van internet zo te configureren dat het iTunes-programma en de iTunes Store-adressen (hieronder vermeld) herkend worden.
U kunt uw internetsoftware zo configureren dat iTunes toestemming krijgt voor toegang tot het internet. Als u Norton Personal Firewall of Norton Internet Security gebruikt, dient u iTunes in uw firewallinstellingen in te schakelen.

Als u de filtersoftware van internet van een andere leverancier gebruikt, controleert u de documentatie van die software of raadpleegt u de leverancier over hoe u de iTunes Store-internetadressen toevoegt.
De volgende iTunes Store-internetadressen moeten worden toegevoegd als betrouwbare domeinen voor eventuele filtersoftware:
- itunes.apple.com
- ax.itunes.apple.com
- albert.apple.com
