Boot Camp: Installing Windows Vista on Mac Pro non-startup disk
Products Affected
Boot Camp, Mac Pro, Microsoft Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
Symptoms
If you install Windows Vista on your Mac Pro, on an internal disk other than the Mac OS X hard disk, you may receive the following message: "Windows is unable to find a System volume that meets its criteria for installation."
Resolution
Microsoft has acknowledged this issue and offers a work-around on this Microsoft support page for installing Windows Vista on your Mac.
Tip: You can switch between Windows and Mac OS X by holding the Option (Alt) key as your Mac starts up. You can also use the Startup Disk control panel in Windows or Mac OS X Startup Disk preferences to set the default operating system to use each time the computer starts up.
