Logic Pro and Logic Express: Only one processsor is used when performing offline bounces

Symptoms

The Logic Pro and Logic Express CPU Load Meter only shows one processor active when performing offline bounces, even on computers with more than one processor or core.

Products Affected

Logic Express 8, Logic Pro 8

Resolution

Logic is able to assign computing tasks (or "threads") to different processors or cores, but any single thread can be processed by one processor.  An offline bounce is performed as a single thread and therefore is handled entirely by one processor.
