증상
iTunes 및 QuickTime 설치 프로그램이 "설치를 준비하는 중" 설치 단계에서 다음과 같은 메시지와 함께 예기치 않게 종료되는 경우가 있습니다.

Windows 2000 또는 Windows XP의 경우:
1. 시작 메뉴에서 실행을 클릭합니다.
2. "열기" 필드 대화상자에서 다음 명령을 입력하고 확인을 클릭합니다.
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
3. "vbscript.dll에서 DllRegisterServer이(가) 성공했습니다."라고 하는 메시지가 나타납니다.
확인을 클릭하고 iTunes 또는 QuickTime을 다시 설치해봅니다.
Windows Vista의 경우:
1. 시작 메뉴의 검색 시작 필드에 cmd를 입력합니다.
2. 검색 결과 목록에서 cmd를 두 번 클릭한 다음 팝업 메뉴에서 관리자 권한으로 실행을 클릭합니다. Windows에서 계속하는 데 사용자의 승인을 필요로 하면 계속을 클릭합니다. 관리자로 로그인하지 않은 경우에는 관리자 로그인 및 암호를 인증해야 합니다.
3. 명령 프롬프트 윈도우에 다음 명령을 입력합니다.
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
4. 키보드에서 Enter를 누릅니다. "vbscript.dll에서 DllRegisterServer이(가) 성공했습니다."라고 하는 메시지가 나타납니다.
참고: "오류 코드 0x80004005"가 포함된 메시지가 표시되면 관리자 권한으로 명령 윈도우가 열리지 않은 것입니다.
5. 확인을 클릭하고 iTunes 또는 QuickTime을 다시 설치해봅니다.
