Symptoms

In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, including Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, some third-party applications can sync their preferences with MobileMe Sync. Eligible third-party items are listed in the MobileMe System Preference.

However, if you uninstall/remove the third-party software, the related item(s) may still be listed in the MobileMe preferences.

Products Affected

Mac OS X 10.4, Mac OS X 10.5, .Mac Sync, MobileMe

Resolution

Mac OS X 10.5

Third-party items are removed from the MobileMe System Preferences when a full reset is performed. After performing a full reset, you may need to re-enable syncing with MobileMe for any third-party application preferences you still wish to sync.

For more information on how to enable syncing, refer to the application's documentation.

Mac OS X 10.4

These items can not be removed from MobileMe preferences. This is expected behavior.
