Symptoms

Jam Pack Loops installed by Logic 8 will not work with Garageband 3.

Resolution

The loop content included with Logic Studio 8 is in a format not recognized by GarageBand 3 or earlier. GarageBand ’08 does work with the Jam Pack Loops installed by Logic 8.
