iPhoto 7.1: Error message when attempting to place a book order

Symptoms

Some customers placing book orders may receive the following error message which prevents them from placing the order.

Unable to Assemble Book-NSPlaceholderMutableString initWithString: nil argument

The error message appears if the Title or Subtitle field on the cover of a hardcover book is empty.

Resolution

This issue is addressed with iPhoto 7.1.4. Choose Software Update from the Apple menu to install the latest iPhoto update. For more information on using Software Update, read this article.
