Subframe audio scrubbing does not work with Final Cut Pro 3 when a Matrox RTMac card and drivers are installed.

Symptom

When subframe audio scrubbing (FCP 3 User's Manual Volume 2 page 428), no audio is heard.

Solution

Do one of the following:
  • Disable the Matrox control panel and restart the computer.
  • Remove the Matrox RTMac card from the computer.
