iTunes 2.0.1 for Mac OS 9 includes Authoring Support 1.1.4. This version of Authoring Support allows iTunes to burn CDs with short or no gaps between songs.

iTunes 2 for Mac OS X includes an updated Disc Recording framework, which has the same feature.
