This article describes how to determine if the multiple processors in a Power Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet) computer are functioning.

Follow these steps to determine if the multiple processors are functioning:

    1. Open the Apple System Profiler application.

    2. If necessary, click the disclosure triangle to reveal the Hardware overview section.

    3. Compare the Hardware overview section to Figure 1.
