Mac/PC Exchange: Not Recognizing DOS Disks

My Macintosh with Mac/PC Exchange installed won't recognize DOS disks.
The computer ejects the disk or wants to initialize it.
Remove Virus Blockade which interferes with the operation of the
PC/Exchange control panel.
