QuickTime 6.4 for Mac OS X 10.2 does not include support for Java
QuickTime Help refers to Java and Java application programming interfaces (APIs) that are not included or supported in version 6.4.

If you use any version of Mac OS X 10.2 and require QuickTime Java support for Java 1.3 or Java 1.4.1, do not upgrade to QuickTime 6.4.
If you have installed QuickTime 6.4 and need support for Java 1.3.1, you can reinstall QuickTime 6.3. A link to the QuickTime 6.3 Reinstaller is available in "QuickTime Reinstaller 6.3 for Mac OS X: Information and Download".
