With CarbonLib 1.3.1 or later installed and Extensions off, the AppleWorks 6.2 Update installer will not open.

Symptom

With CarbonLib 1.3.1 or later installed and Extensions off, the AppleWorks 6.2 Update installer will not open. After double-clicking the AppleWorks 6.2 Update installer, an alert box with the following message appears:

Solution

Restart your computer with extensions enabled and open the updater again.
