Issue or symptom

If Internet Sharing is active in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, you may not be able to participate in iChat video conferences.

Solution

If you wish to participate in a video chat, temporarily disable Internet Sharing. To do this, open Sharing preferences in System Preferences, click the Internet tab, then click the Stop button (under Internet Sharing).
