Apple TV: How to find the serial number

There are several ways to locate your Apple TV serial number.
- In iTunes 7.1 or later
- On the bottom of your Apple TV
- In Apple TV's About screen
- On your Apple TV packaging
In iTunes 7.1 or later
- Connect Apple TV to your computer.
- Open iTunes.
- Select Apple TV in the iTunes Source list.
- Click the Summary tab. Your Apple TV serial number will display.
About screen
You can find your serial number in the About screen on your Apple TV. From the Apple TV main screen, choose Settings then select About from the list of options.
On the bottom of your Apple TV
The serial number is found on the information label at the bottom of your Apple TV.
On the Apple TV packaging
If you still have the original packaging that your Apple TV came in, you can find your Apple TV serial number printed on the barcode label that is affixed to the packaging.
