Mac OS X 10.3: Software Update unexpectedly quits when an update has a license agreement

Software Update could unexpectedly quit when installing software that includes a license agreement, such as QuickTime or Java. This happens if the "Times RO" font is installed on your computer. Software Update makes it easy to install Apple software updates.

Note: This document applies to Mac OS X 10.3 through 10.3.4.

Solution

Download and install Mac OS X 10.3.5 Update or later.
