Mac OS X 10.6: Apple Remote buttons to use with Front Row
You can use Front Row to play DVDs, iTunes content (including music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts), and iPhoto slideshows on your Mac. Using built-in Bonjour networking technology, you can also play content from other iTunes or iPhoto libraries on your home network. To control Front Row using an Apple Remote, use the buttons indicated below.
Menu
Open and close Front Row, and return to a previous menu
Plus (+), Minus (-)
Navigate menus and lists, and change volume
Play/Pause
Select an item in a menu or list, and play and pause audio or video
Next/Fast-Forward, Previous/Rewind
Go to the next or previous song or photo, and go to the next or previous chapter of a DVD that is playing
Next/Fast-Forward
Go to the next frame of a DVD that is paused
Next/Fast-Forward (press and hold the button)
Fast-forward or rewind a video or DVD
When you open Front Row, any content currently playing in iTunes will be paused. You can resume playback in iTunes when you close Front Row.
