iBooks Author: sidebar

The sidebar is the area along the left side of the iBooks Author window, where you see thumbnail images of your chapters, sections, and pages. The sidebar includes the Book pane, where you can rearrange chapters and sections, and the Layouts pane, which you can display by choosing Show Layouts from the View pop-up menu in the toolbar.
