Use this pane to manage the information your Mac makes available.

  • Location Services
    Option Description
    Enable Location Services: When you turn on Location Services, you allow apps and websites to use your computer’s current location to provide information, services, and features appropriate to where you are. For more information, see:

  • Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders
    Option Description
    Allow the apps below to access your information: Shows the apps that want access to the information in your private information to provide services. Deselect the app if you want to prevent it from accessing this information.
  • Diagnostics and Usage
    Option Description
    Send diagnostic & usage data to Apple: To help Apple serve customers better and improve the quality of Apple products, you can choose to automatically send diagnostic and usage information to Apple. For more information about the type of data collected and how it is used, see:

    Report problems to Apple

  • Accessiblity
    Option Description
    Allow the apps below to control your computer: Shows apps that run scripts and system commands to control your computer. Uncheck the app if you want to prevent it from controlling your computer.
  • Other services
    • Shows the apps that want to access the service.
