iCloud: Remove documents from iCloud

Remove documents from iCloud

If you have devices set up for iCloud Documents & Data, you can remove your documents and other items stored in iCloud by deleting them from any of those devices. Removing your documents from iCloud reduces the amount of iCloud storage space you’re using.

If you have devices set up for iCloud Drive, see Remove files from iCloud Drive.

If you use iMovie and want to remove movies and trailers stored in iCloud, see the iMovie Help topic about iMovie Theater on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

WARNING:   When you delete items that are stored in iCloud, they are removed from all your devices immediately and permanently.
