Aperture 3.5: How Aperture handles photo edits in synced albums

Some websites allow you to share and edit images directly from Aperture. Learn how Aperture syncs edits with these sites.

When you share photos to websites or services such as SmugMug or Facebook, any adjustments or edits you make in Aperture (before and after sharing them) are synced up to the shared photos online. If you make edits or adjustments to the photos using tools provided by the online services, these changes will not be visible on the photos in your Aperture web albums. If you adjust or edit a photo in Aperture that has been edited online, Aperture will sync the edited version up to the web service, overriding any edits you may have made online.
