HIMS Braille EDGE 40: Device keys for VoiceOver navigation

When using a HIMS Braille EDGE 40 braille display with VoiceOver in iOS, you can use the following device-specific key commands to navigate.

Router Double-tap the selected item
Status Router Toggle expanded status description
Left Up Pan braille to the left
Left Down Pan braille to the right
Right Up Pan braille to the left
Right Down Pan braille to the right
Left Pad Left Move to the previous item
Left Pad Right Move to the next item
Left Pad Up Move to the previous item using rotor setting
Left Pad Down Move to the next item using rotor setting
Right Pad Left Move to the previous item
Right Pad Right Move to the next item
Right Pad Up Move to the previous item using rotor setting
Right Pad Down Move to the next item using rotor setting
F1 Select previous rotor setting
F2 Select next rotor setting
F3 Switch between contracted and uncontracted braille
F4 Switch between eight-dot and six-dot braille
F5 Scroll left one page
F6 Sctoll right one page
F7 Scroll up one page
F8 Scroll down one page
