iOS: Using Facebook and Twitter accounts
iOS makes it even easier to interact with your friends and family on Twitter and Facebook.
iPad, iPhone, iPod touch
With iOS, you can connect directly to your Facebook and Twitter accounts, allowing you to post and share content from nearly anywhere.
Adding your account
- Facebook: Tap Settings > Facebook
- Twitter: Tap Settings > Twitter
You can also install the official Facebook and Twitter app directly from Settings.
Using Facebook and Twitter
Once you've connected to your account in Settings, you can do the following:

Post and share
You can post directly from Notification Center or by tapping the icon from within Safari, Photos, and other apps:

If you don't see the option in Notification Center after adding your account, tap Settings > Notifications and verify that the Share Widget is on.
You can update your existing contacts with Facebook and Twitter information and photos. Tap Settings > Facebook and Settings > Twitter and then tap Update Contacts. Contacts are matched using email addresses, and contact cards are updated with Facebook and Twitter user names and photos.
Note: Using this feature will replace existing photos with the one your contact is using for Facebook or Twitter.
Sync contacts and calendars
iOS can sync your Facebook contacts and calendars with your device. This feature is off by default, but you can enable it in Settings > Facebook after adding your account.
