Final Cut Pro X: Importing RED Media
Summary
You can import and work with REDCODE RAW (R3D) files in Final Cut Pro X 10.0.6 and later. In order for Final Cut Pro X to recognize the R3D RAW files, you must download and install software provided by RED.

If you also have a RED ROCKET™ card from RED, download the "RED ROCKET™ INSTALLER" to install the latest driver and firmware.
