Service Certification Exams: Paying by Purchase Order (PO)

Summary

Payment for service certification exams may be made by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express at time of registration, or by pre-approved purchase orders (POs). This article outlines the steps that must be followed to get a pre-approved credit line with Prometric and to complete the exam registration process.
 
Note: Payment for service recertification exams (Prime online exams) must be made by credit card (no purchase orders).

Paying for Certification Exams by PO

To pay for service certification exams with a purchase order (PO), you must apply for and receive credit pre approval/line of credit from Prometric BEFORE scheduling the exam. Please follow these steps for getting pre-approved credit and then paying for and scheduling a certification exam.
 
Getting Pre-Approved Credit
 
  1. Download the Prometric Credit Application at http://www.prometric.com/Services/Vouchers/Credit/default.htm. The application can also be faxed to the Attention of the Credit & Collections Department at 443-455-6419.
  2. Complete the Prometric Credit Application and write "Apple Partner" at the top.

    Important: For proper processing of credit applications and registering for Apple certification exams, always write "Apple Partner" on the top of the credit application before faxing it to Prometric, and always identify yourself as an Apple Partner when calling to register.
Scheduling a Service Certification Exam
Note: Prometric will notify you when your line of credit is pre-approved. An approval letter indicating the pre-approved/line of credit account number and registration procedures will be sent via email. Because pre-approved/line of credit account numbers are confidential, Prometric is unable to provide the account number via telephone. AFTER receiving your line of credit pre-approval, follow these steps to pay by PO and schedule a service certification exam:
 
  1. Fax or email your purchase order (PO) to Prometric's Credit & Collections Dept. at 443-455-6419 or at credit.collections@prometric.com. Allow Prometric up to two (2) business days after sending the fax to process the purchase order before contacting Apple Registration at 1-888-275-3926.
  2. Call Apple Registration at 1-888-275-3926. Identify yourself as an "Apple Partner," which enables you to register for as few as one service certification exam seat.
  3.  When scheduling the exam please provide the following: 
    • Pre-Approved/Line of Credit account number
    • Apple Tech ID
    • Valid Promotion Code (if applicable)
    • Purchase Order (PO) number
    • Prometric Registration Number (if applicable)
 
The Apple Registration Representative will provide a confirmation number after the exam has been registered successfully.
