OS X Lion: Full-screen apps appear on the display containing the menu bar

When using a full-screen app in OS X Lion with multiple displays in extended desktop mode, the app will appear on the display that contains the menu bar.

When using a full-screen app in OS X Lion with multiple displays in extended desktop mode, the app will appear on the display that contains the menu bar.

To change the display that contains the menu bar (and therefore shows full-screen apps):

  1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
  2. From the View menu, choose Displays.
  3. Click the Arrangement tab.
  4. Within the Arrangement window, drag the small menu bar to the desired display.
